Students are frustrated that answers are showing red (wrong) when the question is a personal opinion or based on personal experience.

Hello, It would be terrific if the teacher would be able to consistently see the given question and/or possibly a sample answer for items like this one. As is is, I have to toggle back to the item in the module to see what the question is. Thank you!

It would also be helpful if the grading panel was formatted in a way that required less clicking and scrolling. Possibly the panel could be in a grid format, where all free response items could show up on one screen and the scoring options could be in a dropdown, rather than a list that needs to be scrolled to see. Thank you!

Here is an idea... What if during the grading process we can use the rubric as checking off skills (e.g. future tense, relative pronouns, etc...) so that if a student makes a mistake on xyz, we can send them back to the relevant part of the module to have them review something. In other words, there would be a link to the relevant activity(ies) in a particular module that the student could click on when they review their work after it has been returned. Maybe when we meet, we can talk more about this in detail.

Please include the prompt that students see above their response in the activity grader window. It's difficult to have to toggle back to the module to see what students see in order to score their response. Thank you!

I would like to be able to download student recordings to keep them for program assessment in one central location.

It would be great to have the ability to annotate directly on student-uploaded files (PDFs, JPEGs) using freehand drawing or handwriting tools — for example, circling, underlining, or writing comments directly on an image or scanned document. This is crucial for languages that are not Latin alphabet based. My Russian students learn cursive Cyrillic writing and I need to underline their mistakes directly on the file, similar to Brightspace's inline annotation tool, which allows instructors to draw or write directly on file submissions.

Is there a way to make rubrics visible to students? It seems like a waste of time to create a rubric with descriptors if the student's can't see it. We want to be able to embed a rubric into an assignment, like on Google Classroom, and then highlight the descriptors for the students to see, which results in a numerical score.

The way the "marked tokens" activity is graded is confusing to me. Right now, all I see is the answer key (all in green) and words that students clicked that are NOT correct answers in red. I want to see words they correctly selected in green, words missing that they SHOULD have selected in another color, say yellow, and words that they clicked that they SHOULDN'T have in red. There is more than one way to be wrong in this prompt, and I want to see WHY a student got the score they got. Am I missing something? I don't understand why a student is getting the score (i.e. 7/15) if only two words in red show up and the answer key is visible in everyone's answer.

we need late submissions to not automatically be graded as zero. We should have an option to say deduct 10% per day late or whatever percentage we want to deduct.
