Tracked Events on Volume Bar

Lingco has a column for tracked events, where it reports if focus turns away from Lingco. Today we learned that if a student adjusts the volume bar without navigating away from the window, it is counted as a tracked event. Is there a fix for this? In the screenshot below a student has 26 tracked events, all volume related.

Hi Keith Kregel, it's a bit tricky because the browser doesn't tell us what the student is doing. It just lets us know "the last thing that a student clicked on wasn't me." That being said, we may be able to suppress events that are innocuous like a student leaving for 1 second and returning focus to the page. Thanks for that example though. It's helpful when discussing internally.
